Built right, the first time.
A low-voltage construction company focused on corporate and commercial buildings. Southern California, since 2005.
Who we are
JDP Communications is a licensed low-voltage contractor (CSLB #1061737) that designs and installs the infrastructure commercial buildings run on: structured cabling, communications rooms, data centers, conference rooms, wireless networks, and telecom circuits. We've been doing it across Southern California since 2005.
The work is the pitch. Walk one of our rooms and you'll see it: dressed bundles, level racks, labels a tech can read five years from now, and a folder of Fluke test reports proving every link passes. More than 2.3 million linear feet of cable pulled to that standard.
We work directly with owners, facilities managers, IT teams, property managers, and general contractors, from a ten-drop suite to a full data center buildout.
Our standards
American-made, solid-copper cable on every job. Copper-clad aluminum overheats under PoE, fails testing, and doesn't meet fire code, so we don't install it. Ever.
Every run Fluke-certified against TIA-568, with labeled test reports delivered at handoff. A link either passes or it doesn't leave the job.
21 years of corporate and commercial work across Southern California, dressed, labeled, and documented the same way every time.

Common questions
About JDP FAQ
Is JDP Communications licensed?
Yes. JDP Communications LLC is a licensed California low-voltage contractor, CSLB #1061737, in business since 2005.
What kind of buildings does JDP work on?
Corporate and commercial buildings: offices, medical, industrial, warehouses, and multi-tenant properties across Southern California. We work directly with owners, facilities managers, IT teams, property managers, and general contractors.
Why does American-made cable matter?
Imported budget cable is often copper-clad aluminum (CCA), which has higher resistance, overheats under PoE loads, fails certification, and doesn't meet fire code. We install American-made, solid-copper cable only, and every run passes a real Fluke test.
